The TBH GL Series 2604 is a premium modular fume extraction and filtration system. It is engineered for industrial environments where occupational health and energy efficiency matter most. Available in Australia through Opira Pty Ltd, the GL Series is TBH’s “Green Line”. As a result, it delivers up to 65% energy savings over standard extraction systems — without compromising on filtration performance.
Certified Protection for People, Environment & Machinery
The GL Series is certified to DIN EN ISO 21904-1/-2 and approved under DGUV guidelines. In addition, it carries W3 certification and complies with both TRGS 528 and TRGS 900. Together, these credentials make it the trusted choice for businesses with strict WHS obligations. It is well suited to laser technology, soldering, automated welding, surface treatment, and metalworking applications.
Furthermore, the system captures ultrafine particles down to the nanometre range. An optional H13 HEPA particle filter and activated carbon filtration add protection against gases and odours. The result is triple-layer coverage across particle, chemical, and biological hazards.
Energy-Efficient & Quiet by Design
The GL Series runs on a brushless motor. It delivers an effective airflow of 100–300 m³/h and a maximum static pressure of 6,000 Pa. Both the GL230 and GL265 models operate at approximately 53 dB(A). Consequently, they are quiet enough for noise-sensitive production environments. Moreover, the energy-saving blower draws just 0.6 kW — making it one of the most efficient extraction units in its class.
Modular, Flexible & Easy to Maintain
The GL Series is built for real-world industrial use. Filter modules — including bag filters, Z-LinepanelPlus filters, activated carbon, and HEPA filters — can all be upgraded without specialist tools. Additionally, the tool-free filter change system ensures minimal downtime and no specialist knowledge is required.
The Sub-D 25 control interface gives operators full system visibility at all times. It includes filter saturation warnings, speed control, and operating hours tracking. It also supports external integration via RS232 for seamless process control.
Available in two models:
- GL230 — compact unit, up to 350 m³/h free air delivery, 700 × 350 × 440 mm
- GL265 — extended capacity, larger activated carbon volume, 750 × 350 × 655 mm
Both units ship fully assembled with castors for mobile use.
